Aby bylo možné lépe popsat své vizuální pozorování, že za předpokladu, fotomontáže za tímto účelem (časopis dal jasně najevo, že to je to, co to je). To začalo široce-reprodukovat chybu. Tam byly předchozí pozorování by Perego přes Santa Maria Maggiore kostela (Řím), 30. října 1954 a tyto byly také zveřejněny stejným způsobem.
Aby lépe popsal, co viděl, upravil fotografie k výslednému vzhledu (časopis se jasně vyjádřil, že fotografie byly fotomontáže). Takto započala široce šířená fáma. Již dřív Pegero zpozoroval UFO nad kostelem Santa Maria Maggiore (v Římě), a to dne 30. října 1954 a taktéž bylo jeho pozorování publikováno stejném způsobem.
....Je to velmi volný překlad, protože v textu je spoustu pasivu a složenin, které čeština nemá. Ale obsahově se článek shoduje s originálem. :) Snad to pomůže
