Could anyone help me, please?
There are two reasons to avoid long working with NaOH (solid) under atmosphere, do you know them?

Well first one is that NaOH quickly attracts air humidity, you can recognize it because solid NaOH will get glossy. Don't know the second one, sorry :-/
