Any experiences with Canon EF-S 17 - 55 mm F2.8 IS lens?

This lens should be available this month (May).

It is available now, but it's hard to come by. I picked one up at my local camera shop and I must say it is one awesome lens!

yes, it's very sharp and 2.8 aperture + Image Stabilization = superb!
