Canon: Err 01 Communication between the camera and lens is faulty - solution?
Hello, I get this error message on my new Canon EOS 600D:
ERR 01 Communication between the camera and lens is faulty.
Clean the lens contacts.
Do you have an idea what is wrong? Cleaning the contacts did not help. I tried to clean the contacts but time to time I receive this error message. I use original Canon EFS 17-55mm / 2.8 lens.

Do you have this problem with another lens? Or did you try to attach the lens to another camera?
