which toggle switch to use as a 3 way light switch

We have #2 up down toggle switches on either side of our bed which controls a string of 3 small recessed lights on a light bridge above our bed. Each toggle switch turns the lights on and off independently. One of the toggle switches went bad and I am going crazy trying to find a replacement. Can anyone help?????
