What is Pharmacodynamics

Pharmacodynamics is a branch of pharmacology dealing with the reactions between drugs and living systems or simply pharmacodynamics describes the body’s response to a given drug.

Basic Pharmacodynamics Questions

Does drug work?
How well does it work?
How does it work?
How long do I need to give the drug for?
Are there any downsides to giving the drug?

What pharmacodynamics studies: pharmacologic effect - dose response, receptor activation (efficacy/toxicity).
